PENGARUH PENDIDIKAN SENI KALIGRAFI ARAB TERHADAP KUALITAS TULISAN ARAB SANTRI

Abstract

His research aims to find out the Arabic Calligraphy Art Education and Its Influence on the Quality of Arabic Writing santri Kulliyyatul Mu'allimin Al-Islamiyyah (KMI) Bojongsari city of Depok. This type of research is quantitative descriptive. Because this method, according to the author is suitable and relevant to the object of research. The population of this research is all Kulliyyatul Mu'allimin Al-Islamiyyah santri in the Ulumul Qur'an Islamic Boarding School from class I to class VI, totaling 128 people. In this study, the authors only took a few samples from the amount available. The samples in this study were students in grades IV, V and VI Kulliyyatul Mu’allimin Al-Islamiyyah, totaling 32 students. This research was conducted with the literature method and field research methods in the form of observation, interviews, achievement tests. In analyzing the data, the writer uses the technique of editing the results of the test then entered in the tables and then calculated from the number of respondents, the value is included in one category. From the results of the study, it can be proven that there is an influence of calligraphy art education applied by Ulumul Qur'an Islamic Boarding School on the quality of the Arabic writings of its students although it is not yet optimal. It can be concluded that the quality of the Arabic writing of the santri Kulliyyatul Mu'allimin Al-Islamiyyah (KMI), viewed from the average value of 6.71 the results of the test that the author did, is a value that falls into either category.
