Abstract

Interpersonal communication of the principal is one form of realization of the fostered principal of the school as an educational supervisor to the teaching staff individually, with interpersonal communication expected what becomes thoughts, ideas, evaluations and expectations of the head of the school towards the educational institutions they lead can be conveyed well and responded positively by each teaching staff and education staff in the relevant institutions. So to be able to implement interpersonal communication preformance educational institutions need to be shared by us together to understand the nature of communication, the urgency of communication in the world of Education, effective dialogue supervision, and the influence of interpersonal communication principals as supervision of teacher performance. The positive influence in educational institutions between the principal and teachers can be seen one of them from effective communication between the two parties so that the comfort of work in an organization is born which then has a positive impact on the guidance and growth of students as a whole. As in this discussion the authors found a positive influence between interpersonal communication of principals as supervision to teachers and teacher performance. That is, the principal's interpersonal communication to the teacher gives a positive influence on teacher performance. Principal's interpersonal communication is a process of personal transformation of information between the principal and the teacher and is done through individual relationships. The urgency of dialogue in the social interaction of teachers is to arouse and improve teacher professionalism, because with communication there is interaction between supervisors and supervisees and this interaction is expected to give a positive impression on both parties. An effective way to carry out dialogue is to pay attention to the 5 rules in dialogue, namely: Respect, Empathy, Audible, Clarity, Humble.
