Infrastructure Management in Supporting to give comfort of student learning

Abstract

The existence of educational facilities is absolutely necessary in the educational process, so it is included in the components that must be fulfilled in carrying out the educational process to ensure the comfort of student learning. Infrastructure management is important to implement in an educational institution. The purpose of this study is to find out the management of facilities and infrastructure in schools in supporting the comfort of student learning.

This study uses a descriptive method. The source of data in this study is the head of the madrasah and the deputy head of curriculum affairs, the data is obtained through interview, observation, and documentation techniques. The data is analysed in three stages, namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion.

The results of the study show that the management carried out in the management of infrastructure facilities includes activities; 1) Planning, carried out through school meetings in the field of infrastructure. 2) Procurement, which is obtained from school assistance or self-help. 3) Continuous maintenance. The situation of sufficient and adequate school infrastructure has a positive impact in providing student learning comfort.
